The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons

The core operational activities of RACS include education and training, continuing professional development, advocacy to support surgical standards & health equity and support for members. All have supporting leadership, governance and administrative structures. The principal activities of the College in the course of the year were promoting the study of the science and art of surgery, clinical and scientific research and advocacy to support surgical standards. During the year, there was no significant change in the nature of those activities.
